Good east-west axis. Common building at end of axis insinuates english garden. Can the building locations/layout support this more formal vission? Is there a view west (cascades) from the common building? The buildings appear to be quite a variety of shapes/sizes. Is there a modual you are working with? As with other schemes, think about parking and pedestrian access. See Team Dell comments on parking. Auto and pedestrian circulation are interrelated. Bend can be windy - trees are good buffers against wind and neighboring properties. Remember that at least one unit will need to be accessible - ADA compliant; consider parking right outside the building and all living space on the ground floor. Think of a person in a wheel chair and how they would access your site and where they may live. Overall pleasing facades and perspective sketches.

I think site plan has become a lot stronger since the first review. I really like that main street running east-west on the site. I think having that main artery is very important in linking your community. A weak point, like Blaise said above me, is the unity of the design of the buildings and common house. They are all great designs by themselves, but together they are pretty different. However, I know the common house is supposed to differ from the housing types, it would still be nice to see some similiar design details.
Also,in the presentation/PDF, I was a little bugged by the different media choices, especially in the plan drawings.

- STRONG ASPECTS OF DSIGN: You have a site plan similar to ours with the “L” shape. I like how you’ve placed the common house in the middle of the “L” shape and have looked at how all sides of the common house relate to the site.
- WEAKER AREAS INPROVED: The uniformity of the buildings relationship in terms of looks and styles is the only thing that can be improved.
- MISSING INFORMATION: I looked at your site plan and noticed that you have a building on Pettigrew and was wondering what that was. Also the grid next to common house off the housing to the west? And lastly, I know this is hard because I don’t get your verbal highlights, but, is that a fire pit over by the existing trees on site. Okay, last I promise, where is the rec-area for kids?

I like ideas you have for many of the different portions of the site. However it seems that most of the portions don't work well together. There seems to be little integration of aesthetics as well as media. Your sketchup model really helped me understand what was going on throughout the site but I think if you iron out some of the details of materials and such it will work out much more cohesively. Responding to the context of the surrounding areas also seems to need a little attention: whats going on at Pettigrew?
